Pray for Matthew...............

I heard the story first at our sauna Thursday night. This guy who has come to drumming several times, a few years back and lately, last month I think. Matthew is his name and last Monday night while he was walking his girlfriend and another friend home in Visalia, they got jumped by some gang dudes and Matthew got stabbed 7 times. Since, he has gone through several operations and will make it it looks like. This has put a real din on our thoughts about going to main street in Visalia in our merry ways. While main street is pretty safe, the surrounding streets, especially north, are pretty dangerous. Matthew is a great guy, and you would never think of him to get in this kind of situation, even though it was totally random. I have heard indirectly from Jeremiah that some of them have given blood. They knew him better, though he is a part of our drumming tribe. He’s in Kaweah Delta if you want to visit him. Meanwhile we’ll pray………
