Your Friday update....Sponsored by Your Happy Mind

I better get on some updating here for you. Alls been going really well actually, kinda scary huh! Its been getting cooler at night and its been getting darker earlier. Earlier it seems than in the past?? I don't remember it getting dark this early in late august? How about you, do you remember from last year if it got dark before 8 in late august? Well, we'll research that and get back to you. So, like I was saying, alls been really well, the house concert from last week featuring "Tobias" the master drummer, was really great! Lots of people came here to the house and enjoyed one of the best house concerts they may have ever been too. I'm not kidding it was a really well attended and well enjoyed event that went off without a hitch. And, then it was Drumming on Sunday nite. The usual thing where we get there around 7.30 and nobodys around the drum hole at all. Its starting to look like a slow and small nite and we start saying " well, it could just be us tonite" and then they start arriving.....two, three, groups and WOW, its a big and happy drumming! Grooves and moves and happy being the thoughts on the minds of many that attended. Thanks for making our lives rich and for making us all feel famous, cuz in the drum circle...........every one's famous. Thanks for checking in my friends! Have a memorable Friday....and be careful out there..........

Drumming with alittle help from all our Great Friends..............

Yes, I'm here to tell you the drumming sunday night was great and grand! Lots of dancers and drummers. A few lookie lou's and lots of friends who come every sunday and can't wait till next one. Its a good thing that we do and this month is our 17th anniversary. Come celebrate the good times with us, you'll be glad you did..............

Jen and friends showed up and we hadn't seen them in some year or so. She is the very best female didgeridoo player on the planet and she shared her talents with us throughout the night. She can make that lacquered cactus stick hum and vibrate for a long, long time. She has the circular breathing down............Its a sound that rocked our Che............

And, around early midnight we all took the swim in the mighty Kaweah, though not really so mighty. This time more followed and about 15 or so turned out on that very moonlit night to jump in and brave the cool ink black water and squirm back out, slipping on moss covered rocks to chill in the breeze of a cooler night than last time we did this. Looking around we knew we had one up on society in general. Thankful as always to the many friends and followers of the Kaweah River Drum circle ways.....................
