Them Hippee Drummers are at it again........

Hey, what happened to that dude who does the blog anyways? Whats up with them Hippie Drummers. Can you imagine that people think we're Hippee Drummers. Thats almost an insult, but we give those who think that lots of slack cuz apparently they just don't know bout things. Hippees have hairy armpits and legs and wear weird clothes and are poor and smell right? This may be some of us I guess. How about seekers of the free, or living life the way it should be lived according to us. Well, I better quit before I get into more trouble. Life's been good here, even though its been very HOT! We're dealing with it. Spent the weekend in Berkley, San Fran and had a great time at the David Byrne concert at the Greek Theater on the campus Friday nite. Lots of folks were there...the place was packed....and the weather was cool and the moon was just a sliver and all was mighty that night! Ate alot of good food too. You were wondering about how the slide show went....well it was a really good turnout and I was surprised and happy with that! All was well even though it was outside and everyone was wearing Down Jackets.I was glad Gary and Lorrisa and Paul were there too......Thanks for attending. The fire that night in our camp was one of the best times I've had in a long time. After getting out of my comfort zone and doing the slide show and speaking in front of about 40 people, I needed a warm fire a my close buddies to bring on the night!! And, we had a really good and hot drumming last nite too.......you should have been there. I'll work on getting you more info faster I promise.......Love to you and Thanks for checking in.........

Big Show and Big Weekend..........

I know I'm due a catch up to you who read this so here goes. We've been drumming and last Sunday's was really good. We had lots of new guests and a conga line to drum for. Lots of dancers too. Life's been good for all of our drummings. We always have good attendance now and always have lots of dancers like I said. We're Thankful for that! I remember when we just wished for all of that. I guess doing it for 17 years straight helps. I'm doing a slide show this weekend for the SSCA and hope you'll come up and camp with us. Garys coming and I know we'll have lots of folks from the climbing world show. I've been going through lots of slides, I have thousands, and hope to come up with a show that will make you want to get out on the rock, or at the least outside in the mountains. It will be cool so bring your jacket. I've been hearing all the backcountry rangers call in at work and most say that there's still snow on all the passes and some snow fell just yesterday up by Mount Whitney. Well there it is, a quick update. It would be great if you came up and camped with us this weekend, I would love your support for my show. I know there's some other Belly Dance stuff going on too. If you are interested and want to know more about how to get up there and what to bring, give me a call. Enjoy your Thursday.............
