August is the dog days of summer

Well it was 107 yesterday. That’s pretty darn hot for me! We rode up dry creek about 26 miles on Monday afternoon and it was really hot!! We were red in the face and wishing we’d brought lots more water. I brought 2 big 16 oz ones and it was still not enough. Its dry up there in dry creek! We’re at “Extreme” fire danger in the park and well, who knows what the day will bring today. There really hasn’t been any significant fire as of yet.
